Field Scorpion is an oilfield P&A and cementing support tool designed to help users estimate, organize, save, and share job information such as balance plugs, production stub plugs, CICR/retainer jobs, slurry volumes, displacement volumes, mix water, top of cement estimates, pump schedules, job tickets, saved job history, and P&A packages.

Field Scorpion is operated by Scorpion Digital Tools LLC.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Field Scorpion collects, how it is used, and how users can contact us.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, Field Scorpion may collect your username, email address, display name, password, account role, invite information, login status, and related account timestamps. Passwords are not stored in plain text. They are stored as password hashes.

Job Calculation Information

When you use Field Scorpion, the app may save job history connected to your account. This may include entered or calculated job data such as well depths, tubing/casing/open-hole factors, sacks of cement, slurry volume, displacement volume, mix water, plug type, pump schedule details, warnings, diagrams, generated job ticket information, and P&A package details.

Shared Tickets and Packages

If you create a share link or share ticket/package text, Field Scorpion may store a read-only snapshot of the shared package or ticket information so the link can be viewed. Shared snapshots may include well, API, location, planned plug, actuals, notes, warning, and ticket details included in that snapshot.

Feedback and Support Requests

If you submit feedback, report an issue, or request a password reset, Field Scorpion may store the information you provide, your account identifier, timestamps, and the status of the request so support or admin users can review it.

Well Lookup and Location Information

If you use API number, well lookup, location, directions, or package-location features, Field Scorpion may process the API number, selected state, well name, coordinates, county, operator, lease/location, and related lookup results needed to show or save that information. Some lookup requests may use public agency or hosting services needed to return well information.

Technical Information

Like most web services, our hosting provider may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, request logs, error logs, and timestamps. This information is used for security, troubleshooting, performance, and maintaining the service.

Field Scorpion may log account activity such as login events, logout events, registration events, page visits, feedback submissions, password reset activity, admin views, IP address, browser information, request paths, request methods, and timestamps for security, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and product improvement. Reset-token paths are recorded in a shortened form rather than storing the full token path.

2. How We Use Information

Field Scorpion uses information to:

3. Private Job History

Field Scorpion is designed so each logged-in user can only view their own saved job history and private saved packages. Other normal users should not be able to view your saved jobs or private packages.
